My wonderful family...certainly a integral and dynamic part of my story

Although I was fortunate enough to grow up in a Christian home, pursuing full time ministry was the farthest thing from my mind. After teaching elementary school for a number of years, I had the opportunity to go on a short term mission’s trip to Russia. God used that trip in a significant way to open my eyes on a number of different levels. I not only saw the tremendous need in the world for others to know a living and personal God, I saw my own need to seek Him and know Him more intimately. This ultimately led me to Biola University (Talbot School of Theology), where I had four immensely satisfying years studying the Bible and theology. Shortly thereafter, I came across an organization called “World Team” that focused on starting new evangelical churches in places where there are less then 2% in existence.  It was World Team that asked me to consider coming to Milan.
